My Street Style

Coat/H&M, Jumper/Boohoo, Skirt/Lipsy, Socks/Tesco, Boots/H&M

As you all may or may not know, I'm a fashion marketing student, and this is what I do to pass time. Recently I have been receiving so many compliments on my everyday looks, so I thought it was best if I share it with you all. I was asked where do I get my inspiration from, after little thought I realised I'm the female vision of my father. He like suits and tie, sweaters and the occasion casual denim. I dress just the same minus the suit and tie, it's more smart blazers, blouse and a midi skirt for me.

Clueless Inspired Look

Top, Next/ Skirt, Forever21/ Tights, Primark/ Shoes, New Look/ Faux Nose Ring, Claire's

For all my 90s babies out there, clueless is one of the major fashion trend-led movies of the 90s. With its minimalistic look it is so easy for anyone to dress as one of the characters from clueless. My look is taken from the character Dionne, mainly because it was easier for me because of the clothing I already had in my wardrobe. I put my own spin on the outfit.

I suggest with this look have a phone with you at all times or books, it will make this costume more believable.

Happy Nigeria Independence Day

Dress, Black Nigerian lace/ Cuff, New Look/ Bag, Aldo/ Shoes, Aldo
It’s October 1st and the first thing that comes to mind it Nigeria’s independence. I am a proud Nigerian and I love my country, the food, the people, the places in Nigeria. However most of all I LOVE the fashion. For those of you who do not know Nigerians traditional wear African lace and a textile called ankara. Which is then sewn in to any type of garment you would like by a tailor. The difficult part is finding a good and cheap tailor. Fortunately I have one. No I didn’t just dress up for independence day, this outfit is from a Nigerian party I attend mid last month. My whole family attended, it in a huge hall full of Nigerians, Nigerian food, a Nigerian live band and DJ.

If you want to see how I put this outfit together and a little clip from the party, click on here.

Happy Nigeria Independence Day. Hope everyone enjoys their Nigerian food. If you have any african lace or ankara outfits, just tag @ShutItEsther to your Instagram post I would love to see outfits and get some inspiration.

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND!!

Coat, Missguided/ Top, Forever 21/ Jeans, Topshop/ Shoes, Public Desire/ Bag, Zara
I attended London fashion weekend this past Sunday. It was one of the best events I've Attended this year just because of the networking I did. The fashion event was held in the Saatchi gallery in Sloane Square. Which was easy to find. The first thing I did was go to the information desk and picked up a guide, I noticed there was a becoming a blogger talk so I attended that. I learned a few things I had no idea about as a blogger. I had also receive A totebag by Mary Katrantzou with a few items inside eight that will be in my get ready with me video on YouTube that also feature my outfit for the event.

After that I did a little shopping in the pop up shop area where there was actually designers, premium and High Street stores. The one shop I did buy from was never fully dressed.

If you want to see what I got in the tote bag and is the classes I purchased check out my YouTube video link here: https://youtu.be/3R6Z5Bd2viI

Come And Discover My Beautiful Barcelona

This week I had my first ever girls trip and first ever holiday to Spain. Barcelona to be precise. Although we only had 4 nights in Spain we still had fun.

The four of us stayed in a franchise hotel; H Top Hotel. We stayed in Santa Susanna which was an hour away from Barcelona. Our hotel H top Royal Sun Suites was WAY better than expected. Beach was close by and so was the market.

First day we travelled to Barcelona and sat on a city tour bus watch was beautiful in itself.  The city had Wifi. The Whole City!! We stopped for lunch at the famous Hard Rock Cafe and received a free gift. After that's we hopped on the city tour bus again. Made a stop at The Sagrada Familia and Park GĆ¼ell.

Second Day, our hotel set up free transport to Water World. Which was one of the best, scariest and most fun water parks for teenagers. It really caters for all ages. After the amazing water park the girls wanted to get more tanned so we went to the beach near our hotel but we had to get cocktails before hand.

Third it rained terribly causing all of us to get sick. We to the bus which had free wifi, love this country. We made our way to Mataro Parc Shopping Centre just for Sephora (since the UK doesn't have one this was priority). We do go to a couple our stores and made a couple purchases.

Last day we went to our hotels front top pool to get a last minute tan which didn't work out so well as it was only 14 degrees. Scurried to the bar to get a couple drinks. And walked down the strip for last minute souvenir purchases and crepes.

Friday night we were back in London and happy about the trip and tired. Exhausted but I had a 50 year olds birthday party the next day.. Want to know what I wore check out the next post.

Summer is not over YET

Earrings/Warren James, Sunglasses/Aldo, Dress/Glamorous, Bracelets & Rings/New Look, Shoes/New Look

This passed weekend, my little sister had a birthday barbecue party, which was so much fun. I admit I maybe a little old for piƱatas but that was the highlight of the afternoon; watching children from 3-13 and adults struggle to get the sweets. The food was never ending; its safe to say everyone had a good time.

I was praying it would be a hot day but I never expected it to be as hot as it was. Nevertheless my outfit was fitting for the occasion and weather. This outfit could be worn as evening-wear because of the soft silk like material, paired with higher heel depending on your preference or to the beach with flat sandals.

For those of you who are students, this outfit is very much in your price range thanks to the Unidays App.
