Culottes have a feminist history. In the 18th century, in France, the culottes was associated with the ruling class and the Victorian time they were trousers in a skirt disguise- the split middle allow women to play tennis and ride horses. Today Culottes have taken over 2016 spring. The free feeling of a skirt opposed to the restriction of skinny jeans and the security of trousers instead of the worries of the wind blowing up a dress.

This look I have is casual meets chic, with light weight denim culottes so it doesn’t weight the outfit down and light black tank to set off an effortless look. The chic element transmits from the oversized round sunglass and black patent heel. This culotte can also be parted with white slip on vans or converses and a white tank or crop.
